DESCRIPTION:AFTRS & SENNHEISER PRESENT: \nIn the Field with Andy Taylor ACS \n6pm\, Tuesday\, 8 October \nMain Theatre\, AFTRS\, Building 130\,\nThe Entertainment Quarter\, Moore Park New South Wales 2021 \n\n\n\n\nRSVP BY: OCTOBER 2ND 2024 \n\n\n\n\n  \nAndy Taylor is an ACS accredited cinematographer and CASA certified drone pilot. \nHe was granted accreditation by the Australian Cinematographers Society in 2002 and inducted into the ACS Hall of Fame in 2024\, his work has now been recognised with over 30 ACS Awards and 6 prestigious Walkley Awards for cinematography. \nBased in Sydney\, Andy specialises in filming documentaries\, commercials and network promo’s. His international and domestic clients include: Netflix\, National Geographic\, Disney+ and CBS 60 Minutes (USA) BBC Studios\, ITV and Grain Media (UK)\, Tourism Australia\, Queensland Tourism\, IN-Films\, Ray Martin Media and Australian broadcasters: Nine\, Seven\, SBS & ABC-TV. \nAndy started his career working in the ABC’s Cinecamera Department during\nthe late 1980’s. Now with over 30 years of experience Andy is considered one of Australia’s most respected\, reliable and versatile cinematographers having filmed a wide variety of productions throughout Australia and in over 110 countries and territories on every continent. \nAndy will share his equipment choices\, production methods and run through his thought process – including the many and varied technical and creative decisions that need to be considered on location when the pressure is on. \nThis event in AFTRS Main Theatre will provide unique access to Andy’s expertise\, along with Sennheiser equipment for enhanced audio outcomes. Learn the tricks of the trade in this interactive session presented by AFTRS. \nUsing breathtaking footage of nature taken from AFTRS short films\, join Head of Screen Composition Cameron Patrick for a live scoring session\, where he’ll offer different musical approaches for you to choose from.
