You must be a financial member of the ASSG in order to submit a valid entry.

Before submitting an entry please read our Entry Guidelines.

IMPORTANT – We have made some changes to the entry process, so please read the following carefully:

Entrants are required to submit the entry form, media, and payment by Sunday 13th July, 11:59pm AWST.
For the early-bird discount, entries need to be in by Friday 4th July, 11:59pm AWST.

Entry forms fees are payable per submission at the end of the form. No refunds will be given to double or invalid entries.

Late entries will not be accepted, no exceptions! Please start planning your entries now to get them submitted by the due date.

Please make sure your spelling is accurate and that you have included all the relevant crew names. If in doubt, consult your crew!

The ASSG will use the spelling of names as listed on the entry form for any press releases, nomination certificates, trophies or any other correspondence related to the ASSG Awards.

If you are planning on entering multiple projects in the same category, please consider entering only the projects you believe have the most merit. Fewer entries in these categories will lessen the burden on our volunteer judges and ultimately contribute to a fairer ASSG Awards judging process.

You wont be able to process without a current membership.

If you aren’t a member, you can join via our website here. Please note that memberships are reviewed the first week of each month. New members will need to be confirmed and have their fees paid before entering.

Please give us some details about what the judges should listen for when watching your project. These will be provided to the judges for them to read during the judging process.

We suggest you consult the head’s of department for each craft on what to mention.

To reduce the risk of bias judging, we ask that no names (of crew or facilities) or genders be used when writing your considerations. We will also be checking and redacting this information before passing it onto our judges.

Each box has a maximum of 300 words allowed.

Important Information for your uploaded content

Video Specs:

H264 file of the full project, with sound re-striped to the vision.

Please keep the file sizes to a minimum, no bigger than 1920 x 1080. Remember, we are judging the SOUND, not the VISION.

The ASSG encourages you to watermark your full length projects. When watermarking, please do not use the name of the entrant or sound studio. We suggest using “ASSG Awards 2025”
