“Elvis” is a biographical drama film that follows the life of legendary musician Elvis Presley, played by Austin Butler. The sound design of the film has been widely praised, with critics calling it “immersive” and “evocative.”

It’s been a great few months with Big Bang, as Wayne and Libby were also recently bestowed with the prestigious NSW Cinema Pioneers of the Year Award, which recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the cinema industry in New South Wales. Wayne and Libby were also named as the ASSG Lifetime Achievement recipients at our 2022 awards.

A massive congrats to all the achievements so far the extension team on Elvis, including David Lee and the production sound team, and all the post-production soundies from Big Bang, The Post Lounge and the numerous freelancers to make this films soundtrack epic. The numerous nominations are a testament to the skill and creativity of the sound team, and they can take pride in the fact that their work on Elvis has been appreciated by audiences and critics alike.
