ASSG State Update – December 2023
Forward works begin on Perth’s screen production facility. (Read more) This is a great step forward for the state. Since the announcement of the tender in 2020, we have continued to voice our needs for both production and post-production soundies. We received a positive response from the Minister in October – but our work isn’t over! As the facility build moves forward, we will continue to voice our needs.
| After serving as WA state representative for 7 years, Xoe Baird is stepping aside. Trevor Hope will be taking over the reins as of 2024. Trevor has already been a huge driving force for the WA chapter, with his contribution to the infrastructure campaign and running events like the Sound Device’s A-20 demonstration day this year. |
